Gus Murray
Co-Founder & Managing PartnerGus brings over 13 years of comprehensive construction management expertise spanning both public and private sector delivery of large‑scale industrial projects. He began his career serving five years as a Construction Manager for the United States Navy, where he successfully delivered diverse infrastructure projects including runway renovations and upgrades at Naval Air Station Patuxent River—home to NAVAIR headquarters and the U.S. Navy’s Test Pilot School—as well as Energy Savings Performance Contracts that enhanced operational efficiency and reduced utility consumption across Navy and Marine Corps installations.
Over the past eight years at Amazon, Gus has held progressively senior execution and leadership roles, delivering projects ranging from $1M to $400M in value. His Amazon portfolio encompasses more than 180 projects totalling 75 million square feet and $3.8 billion in work‑in‑place of light industrial space, directly enabling critical network capacity to meet customer demand. Most recently, Gus served four years as a Regional Construction Manager leading large‑scale teams before transitioning to lead Amazon’s Pre‑Construction team for North America, where he has driven strategic planning, risk mitigation, and design optimization across the continent’s entire construction pipeline.
Gus lives in Signal Mountain, Tennessee with his wife, Allison, and three children, Mills, Woodrow, and Josephine. Gus is a graduate of the University of Kentucky’s Pigman College of Engineering (BSCE ‘13) and a Masters of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
John Baldwin
Co-Founder & Managing PartnerJohn brings over 15 years of diverse construction and business development expertise spanning general contracting, technology services expansion, and global project delivery. He began his career spending six years in the contracting industry as a Project Manager, where he honed his skills in project execution and stakeholder coordination. Over the past nine years at Amazon, John has demonstrated versatility across multiple high‑impact roles.
He initially spent four years with Engineering Services leading infrastructure project delivery across global markets including NA, APAC, LATAM, and MENA. His Amazon portfolio consists of $6.2 billion in CAPEX across 100+ projects accounting for nearly 65 million square feet of light industrial capacity. John spent two years heading Amazon Web Services (AWS) Warehouse Automation, facilitating the strategic expansion and adoption of cloud services to enterprise customers worldwide, and co‑authored the Warehouse Automation Optimization (WAO) offering presented at re:Invent in 2025.
Most recently, John established the Construction Supply Chain Category for North America fulfillment where he developed strategic and horizontal support functions for execution partners, managed contractor and supplier relationship across fulfillment business units, and drove supply chain excellence to support ambitious company goals.
John lives in Signal Mountain, Tennessee with his wife, Caroline, and their two children, Ford and Elle. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee’s Tickle College of Engineering (BSCE ‘11) with concentrations in Fluid Dynamics and Structural Analysis & Design and a Masters in Business Administration from Audencia Ecole de Management.
Kyle Gruss
Project Executive, Data CentersKyle brings over 10 years of construction and project management expertise from industry leading mission-critical data center delivery as well as heavy manufacturing and commercial construction. He began his career at United States Gypsum Corporation as a Project Engineer, where he managed the corporate capital spending budget for process improvement initiatives and led the rollout of lean manufacturing practices for the northeast region. During this time, he launched and managed capital projects up to $1.5M, from initial bids through installation and successful operation, while also leading the cross-departmental safety team.
Kyle then spent three years at Holder Construction Group, LLC, first in preconstruction leading subcontractor engagement for key client personnel—before transitioning to help lead the construction efforts on a new $168M, two-story, 32MW data center, where he managed subcontractor daily construction activities, financials, and cost control through project close-out and building commissioning. In 2021, Kyle joined Amazon Web Services (AWS), first as a Data Center Project Manager for Critical Infrastructure, executing global capital improvement projects across data capacity, critical power, and cooling systems, and overseeing capital expenditure lifecycles from funding through commissioning. Over the past two years Kyle served as Construction Manager for AWS's new Machine Learning Region, leading execution and delivery of the first 60MW pilot site and establishing the operational standards for future builds. He oversaw a full $400M budget, orchestrating daily cross-functional coordination amongst 15 separate partner teams as well as provided daily directional oversight for ongoing construction activities in the field. Most recently, Kyle lead a 20-person taskforce for the AWS Machine Learning space spanning five new regions that improved overall construction efficiency for future builds.
Kyle lives in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania with his wife, Rachael, and two children, Cameron and Riley. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton (BS Mechanical Engineering '16) with a minor in Business Administration, and holds his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
David Boa
Project Executive, Data CentersDavid brings over 13 years of program and construction management expertise spanning enterprise technology, general contracting, and large‑scale hyperscale data center delivery. He began his career at Oracle Corporation advising Fortune 500, Higher Education, and Healthcare clients on enterprise software solutions before transitioning into construction. As a Construction Manager at The Porter Company, David delivered landmark projects across Austin, including a $180M high‑rise and an $85M university infrastructure project.
David spent six years at Amazon across Global Engineering Services and Amazon Web Services, taking on progressively senior program and construction leadership roles. He led the build and launch of dozens of fulfillment centers nationwide before moving into data center construction, where he owned greenfield delivery across U.S. metros and standardized design and reporting processes to improve consistency and efficiency across the portfolio. Most recently at AWS, David directed the initial phase of the company's first nuclear‑powered AI/ML data center program, coordinating cross‑functional teams and serving as primary liaison to AWS leadership.
David went on to serve as Senior Manager, Construction & Development at CyrusOne, leading end‑to‑end delivery of a multibillion‑dollar hyperscale data center campus from pre‑construction through commissioning and operational turnover.
David now serves as Project Executive, Data Center Construction at Murrwin, where he partners directly with hyperscale clients to build and strengthen their data center development programs — bringing owner‑side construction discipline to each engagement to help clients scale their portfolios with greater speed, cost control, and confidence.
David lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Amy, and their two daughters. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business, and a BA from the university's Plan II Honors Program with a Business Foundations Certificate.
